Joy & Dissent is a provocative festival of comedy, cabaret and queer performance art at Hackney Showroom from 27 March - 9 April. The festival asks the question ‘can protest be joyful?’
Leading the comedy strand of the festival are two award-winning comedians performing in a night of stand-up on 30 March: Gabby Best of BBC’s Live At the Electric, and 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Best Newcomer Award nominee Jayde Adams, who has brought her subversive delivery to Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats.
For the full festival line-up, see Hackney Showroom's website.
