I was really happy to hear from Blacks about reviewing some of their range of Berghaus kids coats & jackets because the kiddies are always growing out of their jackets. My three kiddies sat down & we looked through the great selection of girls Berghaus coats & boys Berghaus coats available on Blacks. They each picked their favourite jackets. Our nearly 10-year-old son picked the red jacket on the left which is the Berghaus Boy’s Carrock Waterproof Jacket. It’s a light jacket that’s fully waterproof while remaining breathable. The breathable lining is made from mesh & taffeta.

Our 4-year-old daughter chose the pink coat in the centre (pink being her absolute favourite colour) which is the Berghaus Girl’s Carrock 3 in 1 Jacket. Her jacket has a fully removable fleece lining. The waterproof outer jacket is the same type of waterproof, lightweight jacket that her brother chose above. It’s handy to be able to separate the jacket & have a fleece or light jacket to wear. Or to combine the fleece & jacket together to form a heavy winter coat for the colder weather.
Our 7-year-old son chose the grey & black jacket on the right which is the Berghaus Boy’s Rannoch Jacket. His jacket has a lovely soft lining that makes it warmer than his brother’s Carrock Jacket. The insulated lining is synthetic & lightweight. The exterior is also waterproof.
I’m impressed with the quality of all 3 Berghaus jackets. They are really well made, lightweight & comfortable to wear. The waterproof feature is a must for life in Ireland.
