Who can enter the competition?The competition is open to legal residents of Worcestershire who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Drifters Waterways Holidays, their close relatives, and anyone involved in the organisation or judging of the competition are not eligible to enter.
When does the competition close?The competition closes at midnight on 31st October 2024.
How can one enter the competition?To enter, participants must complete the online entry form found on the Drifters Waterways Holidays website. Only one entry per person is allowed, and any attempt to submit multiple entries will result in disqualification. Automated or robotic entries will also be disqualified.
What are the prizes to be won?The winner will receive a canal boat holiday worth up to £1,000 with Drifters Waterways Holidays. The holiday includes a short break on a self-drive canal boat, with fully equipped facilities such as kitchens, central heating, hot water, showers, and more. The winner can choose a boat from any of Drifters' 45 locations. Some operators may include fuel, while others charge extra. There may be a non-refundable £50 damage waiver required. The holiday must be booked by 31st March 2025 and taken by 31st May 2025. No cash alternatives are available, and the prize is non-transferable.
What is the total prize pool value?The total prize pool value is up to £1,000, which covers the cost of the canal boat holiday. Additional expenses such as fuel or damage waivers may apply.
How will the winner be selected and contacted?The winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the promotion period. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days after the drawing and must accept the prize within 7 days of notification. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture, and a new winner will be selected.
