How can one enter the competition?To enter, participants must complete the registration form available on the designated platform and be able to attend the Des Winks showroom located on Hopper Hill Road, Scarborough, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, between 12:00 and 14:00.
What prizes can be won?One lucky winner will receive £500 in cash. Additionally, ten finalists will be randomly selected and invited to the live event, where they will each choose an envelope from the "Cash in the Car" envelopes. One of these envelopes will contain the £500 prize, while the others will have consolation messages.
What are the details of the event and prize distribution?- The Des Winks Used Car Event runs from August 12 to September 14, 2024, featuring £500 off the price of every used car.
- On the event day, the finalists must arrive by 13:00 to select their envelopes.
- If fewer than ten finalists attend, the number of envelopes will be adjusted accordingly.
- Attendees can also get their cars washed and vacuumed for £5, with proceeds going to Saint Catherine's.
- Goody bags, refreshments, and entertainment will be provided for all attendees.
What is the total prize pool amount?The total prize pool includes £500 in cash for the winner. The prize is non-transferable, and Des Winks reserves the right to pay the prize as cash, cheque, or bank transfer.
