Are you looking for an active day out? The Look Out Discovery Centre is a fun place to visit with all the family. There are more than 90 hands-on science and discovery activities, all waiting to be pulled, pushed or prodded! The hands-on activities are mostly geared towards primary school and pre-school children. However, there is something for all ages! Can you really leave your shadow on the wall? Come and play in our toddler supermarket, build an unfinished house, launch the hot air balloon or dam a stream (plus, much more).
We have a programme of exciting science shows for families at weekends and Bracknell Forest holidays and for school groups during term-time. Please check out the website for details of the current science show.
The centre is set in Swinley Forest, which has over 1,000 hectares of woodland. Outside is a popular adventure play area, orienteering course, walks and trails and picnic area. There is something to keep everyone happy for a couple of hours or even a whole day – stop for lunch, or find pocket money items, books and games inside The Look Out gift shop.

Admission charge The super saver ticket is just £19.45 for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children (valid until 31.3.16). Children aged 3 and under are free! Special parent and toddler rates for term time. £2 parking charge for a 4 hour visit to The Look Out. However, visitors (full paying adult and saver tickets only) to the hands-on science exhibition who pay on the day will be given a £2 discount, (parking stub needs to be shown at time of purchase).
