This Autumn Opera North presents two contrasting opera classics with Puccini’s heart-stopping thriller Tosca and Lehár’s romantic comedy The Merry Widow.
Touring the north of England from September to November, we’re giving you the chance to experience one of these fantastic operas in either Nottingham, Leeds, Newcastle or Salford Quays.

Whereas The Merry Widow demonstrates opera’s fun side, with a bubbling romantic plot, fabulous period costumes, light-hearted comedy and wonderful waltz rhythms.
