RULES
- The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘NOW TV’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Tuesday 17th December to Sunday 22nd December on Heart Network (the “Radio Station”).
- Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
- To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to https://www.heart.co.uk/ select the prizes they wish to play for and register their details. Online entry will open at 00.01 on 17th December and close at 16.00 on 20th December.
- By submitting your entry to this competition, you confirm that you have obtained the consent to enter on behalf of a child and you have obtained the consent of the child’s parent/guardian and agree to notify us immediately if their consent is withdrawn at any time.
- For the purposes of this competition a child is defined as age 15 or under.
- Once online entry closes 20 entrants will be selected at random.
- Out of those 20 entrants a producer will pick two entrants for the on-air competition based on their response from their entry to the online question ‘Now please tell us – in no more than 300 characters – a little about you and your child and what you’ll be getting up to at Christmas.’ A producer will select the entries that are most feel good, upbeat and fun. Heart’s decision is final.
- The two chosen contestants will be brought to air, the first one on Saturday 21st December and the second on Sunday 22nd December.
- The parent and child will be required to answer a question correctly in order to win each prize selected online. If the parent/child answers a question incorrectly, then they will not win the prize associated with that question. However, the winner will not lose any previously awarded prizes.
- The Entrants selected to come on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the Entrant fails to answer a return call from Global or is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated, and another Entrant will be selected at random and brought to air.
- Entrants, including adult and child, must be available to take a call from Global between 9:00-13:00 on Saturday 21st December and 9:00-13:00 Sunday 22nd December.
- You grant Sky a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty free right to use, copy, distribute, edit, sub-license, communicate to the public and otherwise make use of your Entry or any part of it by way of any and all media in Sky’s control. You waive any right to approve uses of the Entry prior to such use.
Eligibility:
- Entrants must be aged 18 and over
- Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
- Unless otherwise stated the promotion is open to UK, Isle of Man, Channel Island and Republic of Ireland residents, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees (or family members of employees) of any Sky company (“Sky”), companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies may not enter the Promotion.
Prize:
There will be two parent & child winners in total – one parent & child pair winner for Saturday 21st December and one parent & child winner for Sunday 22nd December.
Each days Entrant will win:
- NOW TV Smart Stick and 12 Months of both Entertainment and Sky Cinema passes.
- They will then go on to play the on-air game for the prizes they selected online (one from the parent list, one from the child list), out of the following.
